Long time customer Ashland Specialty Chemicals (formerly ISP) has solicited ARC to investigate the potential to reline their current BDO, which ARC had redesigned a new lining for in 2012, with a better refractory choice for their intermittent operation schedule. The solicitation will include an overcoat of the existing lining in the fall of 2018 allowing a new refractory lining to be investigated, designed and installed in 2019. ■
